
What is basic coverage?
The basic
coverage will provide you with an agreed sum insured of a
maximum of 50,000 Jordanian dinars in the event that the insured suffers from one of the
22 critical diseases covered by the policy during the insurance period, provided
that the age of the insured at the start of the insurance does not exceed 59
years, and that the insured remains alive for 30 days after
the disease was diagnosed.
Covered
diseases (Major cancer, Stroke, Heart attack, Coronary artery by-pass surgery, End stage kidney
failure, Major organ transplant, Heart valve surgery, Aorta graft surgery,
Multiple
sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Motor neuron disease, Paralysis,
Blindness,
Coma,
Benign brain tumor, Fulminant hepatitis, Loss of hearing, Loss of
speech, Advanced dementia (including Alzheimer’s disease), Severe burns,
HIV through blood transfusion, Major Head Trauma).
What is the cost of basic
coverage?
The insurance premium is calculated based on the agreed sum
insured, age of the insured, and period of insurance with a minimum of 60
Jordanian dinar annually (inclusive of financial stamps and issuance fees).

You can also add any of the
following covers that will guarantee you additional protection:
- Covering 19 additional diseases (Loss of limbs, Loss of one limb and one eye, HIV throw work occupation, Poliomyelitis, Bacterial meningitis, Encephalitis, Lung disease in the final stage, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Cardiomyopathy, aplastic anemia, Pulmonary Hypertension, Acute liver failure, Scleroderma, Creutzfeldt - Jakob disease, Myocarditis, Apallic syndrome, Blindness – WHO, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis).
- Or cover 15 additional
diseases (Loss of limbs, Loss of one limb and one eye, HIV throw work
occupation, Poliomyelitis, Bacterial meningitis, Encephalitis, Lung disease in
the final stage, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Cardiomyopathy, aplastic anemia,
